New energy for 2010-2011!

The Stewards by Design team made a presentation at a recent meeting on what they had learned and this new perspective will undoubtedly prove fruitful in the months ahead. Looking forward, we still have to formalize our committee structure but we're pleased that Diane Ellison has agreed to be co-chair and that will give us a formidable ability to face the challenges ahead.

We are considering ways to solidif your relationship with Action Refugies Montreal, in part through "twinning"congregation members with refugees to assist their assimilation into the Canadian environment and finding ways to learn more about the challenges refugees face.  

Jill Foster attendedt he Truth and Reconciliation Commission's first national event in Winnipeg, June 16-19. 

The generosity of anonymous donors has put the ReachOut for Outreach Auction over our $10,000 goal, so we will not be a burden on the Board this year.

Six people have confirmed interest in the trip to Kenya - none require financial assistance. We'll have a meeting and try to boost the numbers a little when Rose Mureithi returns from Kenya in June.
