Stwards by design

Our SBD team has just returned from the Stewards byDesign Conference at NiagaraFalls, May 6 to 9.  They are very excited to have been asked toattend, to learn and to worship with the other 19 teams from congregationsacross Canada.  There were teams of four stewards from rural,urban, suburban, small, medium, large congregations of the Presbyterian Churchin Canada, fromsmall, medium and large cities across the country and many who represented thenational church.  The conference keyspeaker was Dr. Kennon Callahan who used his The Twelve Keys Leaders' Guide An Approach for Grassroots, Key Leaders,and Pastors Together and his TheTwelve Keys Bible Study.  The SBDteam went to the conference having already read The Twelve Keys to an Effective Church Strong, HealthyCongregations Living in the Grace of Godbook.  We were especially blessed to havewith us our Interim Moderator, Dr. Dale Woods who also lead all the worshipservices.  Our conference resource personwas Dr. Herb Gale who preached at A & P this season.  Our SBD team is really excited to share theirlearning with the congregation.
