Women's Missionary SocietyThe Women's Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church in Canada is a community of Christian women whose purpose in response to the love of God in Jesus Christ is to encourage one another and all the people of the Church to be involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship. The WMS, as we are fondly known, began in Montreal in the 1870's. Our group meets six times a year (Spring and Fall) on the last Tuesday of the month at 2:30 p.m. in the Iona Room of the church. We warmly welcome newcomers, men and women. As well as an interesting speaker, we have prayers, hymns, scripture and devotions. Refreshments are served.
