A&P YouthWe have an active and energetic group of young people (grades 6 through high school) who enjoy getting together for various events. We all enjoyed a very successful Retreat in January and invited our good friends from St. Columba by the Lake Presbyterian Church to join us. They in turn reciprocated with an invitation to their Annual Sledding and Valentine Dinner in February, at which time our young people had an opportunity to reunite. Wonderful friendships are being formed between these 2 youth groups and we look forward to many more get-togethers! Other activities that our young people enjoy are movie and dinner nights, museum visits, and rock wall climbing to name a few. They had a wonderful workshop presented by McGill's Engineers Without Borders entitled "Water for the World" on March 27 and we look forward to inviting them back for three more of their informative workshops. Right now, they are rounding up sponsors for a very special mission project - PWS&D / Pakistan. A Bowl-A-Thon is scheduled to take place to begin their fund raising. Please contact Sharon or Art at churchschool@standrewstpaul.com if you would like to sponsor any of our young people or if you would like to participate in the Bowl-A-Thon. Finally, they will be participating in the Canadian Cancer Relay for Life in May and once again, if you would like to sponsor any of the group or would like to join our team, please contact Sharon or Art at the above email address.
