Given the rise in Covid cases, the Delta variant and the younger children not yet vaccinated, we have opted for a "soft" reopening of our Church School.
Beginning September 12, we will be welcoming our Senior Students (ages 12+) in person each Sunday at 11:00am and continuing to offer an online Church School class for at least the months of September and October for children ages 5 through 11. We will reassess the situation towards the end of October and make a decision as to how to proceed at that time.
Strict protocols will be in place for our Senior Students including signing in at the entrance at 3415 Redpath, hand sanitizing and wearing masks at all times.
We look forward to another exciting year of Church School with the hopes and prayers that with the approval of a vaccine for our younger children, things will improve and we will be free to return to what we once considered “normal”.

Children, Youth and Young Adults
In the early years your children will be taught about God as a loving Father who created us and the world. Then they will look at how God's Son, Jesus, was an example of how our life could be lived. He loved us, gave Himself for our sins, and rose again for our new life. Eventually, they find out that God, the Holy Spirit has guided and sustained the Church throughout its history, and that He can influence their lives too.
Four Things We Can Give Your Child
One - A meaningful and enjoyable Christian Education with activity-based learning including dramatizations of Bible stories, a Christmas Pageant, and Interactive use of Media, with emphasis on new themes and religious concepts at each level such as: Who is God? What is a Christian? and How are we different from other religions?
Two - An introduction to worship through words and music through participation in the Church Service, writing and hearing different types of prayers, singing and listening to different styles of music and performing in a Junior Choir.
Three - A sense of belonging to a Church family and participation in the life of the Church through Sunday Services, Reading Lessons, Children's Story, singing Anthems and attending various intergenerational events.
Four - Opportunities to serve and learn about the wider community through various charity and mission projects.
Our enthusiastic, trained teachers lead classes for children from Nursery through High School. We offer an age-appropriate curriculum to allow the children to gain an understanding of Scripture and its relevance to their lives, and equip them to live and share their faith in the community. We even have something for babies... and their parents.
Our Crèche - literally, a "manger" or day-nursery - is a supervised center for babies and is equipped with a television monitor which broadcasts the church service for parents who wish to stay with their little ones.
