Once again a HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped make the Pageant a wonderful success on December 4th!! The Church was bustling with shepherds, angels, rich ladies, kings, queens, tax collector, innkeeper and assistant innkeeper, and of course, Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus – what a wonderful time of joy and fellowship made possible by the help and enthusiasm of parents, teachers, youth, university students, staff, Session members, Ministers and of course, the biggest stars – THE CHILDREN!! God bless you all!!
Church School welcomes all children to join them, while parents enjoy each Sunday morning Service. We have a supervised Creche for babies and little ones up to age 2, and classes including Nursery (ages 2-4), K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12, offering scripture-based lessons each Sunday. Our Church School Staff are caring individuals, creating a friendly and happy space for all. Please come and introduce yourself!
This Sunday, all grades will be sharing in a special project on the “Four Sundays of Advent”.
All are invited to the Family Christmas Eve Service, Saturday, December 24th at 4:00PM – join us for this special interactive service as the children of the Church School and Youth Group invite all visiting children to help decorate the Christmas tree, with decorations all symbolic of the Christmas story.
If you are new to our church, please ask one of the ushers to direct you to the Christian Education office.
The A&P Youth Group extends a warm welcome to all young people ages 12 through 17 to join their friendly and very energetic group.
The Youth Group has been working on two Community Service Projects throughout the month of December, including a clothing drive for the St. James Drop in Centre, that supports the homeless community of Montreal, and a Gift Card Drive to help make Christmas a little brighter for the young people of BATSHAW. These two projects will end on Monday, December 19th and we thank all of you who have been so very generous.
The Youth Group will be very much involved in the production of the Family Christmas Eve Service, at 4:00PM.
We are very excited to report that the A&P Youth Group will be hosting the “Coldest Night of the Year Walk” On February 25, 2023 at the Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul, in support of the Montreal homeless community cared for by the St. James Drop-in Center!! We will be welcoming the St. James Drop-in Center Staff, as they set up in Kildonan Hall to welcome the Coldest Night teams from all across Montreal, before we all set off on the walk, then return for some hot soup or chili and a lovely time of fellowship. ALL AGES are welcome to join the team!!! If you would like join the A&P Youth Group team for its 12th year of participation, or sponsor the team or a walker, please email Sharon at churchschool@standrewstpaul.com or phone 514-755-0313 for more information.
If you know of any young people who would like to join our group or would like more information, please contact Sharon at churchschool@standrewstpaul.com
