Event Details

The Choir, together with Ensemble Caprice and conducted by Jean-Sébastien Vallée, presents J. S. Bach’s monumental Mass in B Minor, BWV 232, in a liturgical context. Pre-service discussion of the work by Dr. Vallée at 6:45 p.m.; organ prelude played by Dr. Jonathan Oldengarm (Bach’s great Passiontide partita Sei gegrüßet, Jesu gütig, BWV 768) beginning at 7:10 p.m.

A freewill offering will be received; no tickets or reservations are required.

All soloists are members of the choir, and include the following:
