Our choir, together with Ensemble Caprice present J.S. Bach’s monumental motet “Jesu, meine Freude” in addition to Dieterich Buxtehude’s “Membra Jesu nostri,” a complete cycle of seven cantatas for Holy Week, each which addresses a different aspect of Jesus’s crucified body. The service will feature soloists from our choir. 

Le Chœur de l’église St. Andrew and St. Paul et l’Ensemble Caprice interpréteront le majestueux motet Jesu meine Freude ainsi que Membra Jesu nostri de Dieterich Buxtehude; un cycle de sept cantates composé pour la semaine sainte. Chaque cantate décrit un aspect du corps crucifié de Jésu. Ce service mettra aussi en valeur le talent de nos chanteurs solistes.
