What's Next Focus Group Meeting - West Island

As part of What’s Next, an initiative at our church which is designed to begin the search for a second minister, parishioners are invited to open their homes to fellow parishioners to form focus groups whose members participate in a unique process called Appreciative Inquiry. Appreciative Inquiry focuses on topics such as experiences that people have had at our church, experiences that moved them spiritually, a time when they felt “most alive”,” most involved”, “most excited”and “most involved”. It also offers them a chance to answer the question, “If you had three wishes for your church, what would they be?” To date, focus groups have been well-attended and well-received. Focus groups are intended to give everyone a voice and to provide an opportunity for stakeholders to have a role in choosing a second minister for the Church.

If you have already completed a survey, please note that the Focus Group meetings and the Appreciative Inquiry meeting on Feb 3 for the whole congregation are designed to build on the information that is collected in the surveys.
